An 8th century Worcester porcelain teabowl printed in underglaze blue with the Man in the Pavilion pattern c.1760.

See Worcester Blue and White Porcelain by Branyon, French And Sandon P.326 11.B.1 for a matching saucer, This pattern is one of the earliest underglaze blue transfer-printed designs dating to 1757/60.

The teabowl is marked to the base with a blue hatched crescent.

The teabowl stands 4.1cm tall and measures 7.5cm in diameter.

Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks or restoration.
