An 18th century Liverpool sparrow beak jug, made by John and Jane Pennington c1780-90. The jug is transfer printed in underglaze blue with added red and gold.
The jug measures 8cm in diameter including the handle and stands 8.9cm tall.
It is in good display condition, however the handle has been broken into 3 and re attached without loss. There is also a 18mm hairline to the rim and a 6mm chip to the foot.
