An 18th century Caughley soft paste porcelain fan shaped shell dish of moulded form transfer printed with the Fisherman pattern c1779-99.
A very popular pattern initially found on Worcester porcelain and then subsequently copied by Caughley and several Liverpool factories.
It comprises a fisherman on a boat holding a small fish with a further fisherman with a pole sitting on rocks. A cormorant can also be seen perched on a rock nearby.
The dish measures 10.0cm wide and 11.0cm long
Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration
