A good Worcester saucer printed in black enamel with a “Classical Ruins” scene in the foreground and a village landscape in the background c1770.
Most probably printed by Robert Hancock who worked for Worcester for many years and who became a partner for a short time prior to leaving the factory in the early 1770’s.
The saucer measures 13.5 cm in diameter.
Condition is good with just a small chip to the rim. No other damage or restoration.
Unmarked.
